菲美演習傳日自衛隊員身亡 菲軍方拒評論

（中央社記者林行健馬尼拉8日專電）菲律賓媒體今天報導，一名來菲參加軍事演習的日本自衛隊隊員上週在車禍中喪生，菲律賓軍方對此不予置評。
「馬尼拉公報」（Manila Bulletin）今天報導，38歲的日本自衛隊員前原卓（Suguru Maehara），2日搭乘菲人駕駛的廂型車一同運送糧食時，不幸與卡車相撞，送醫不治死亡。
另一名日本自衛隊員肋骨受傷，經急救後同日即已出院。
菲律賓海軍陸戰隊貝洛尼奧（Jerber Belonio）表示，這場意外不是發生在演習之中，他無權評論。
菲律賓與美國10月1日展開「海上戰士合作」（Kamandag）聯合軍事演習，以提升反恐、人道及救災領域的協同作業能力。這場為期10天的演習，日本自衛隊也派員參與非戰鬥部分的訓練。
距離馬尼拉以北約170公里的海軍訓練所6日進行兩棲反恐登陸演習，日本陸上自衛隊水陸機動團也動員5輛兩棲突擊車搶灘，再由大約50名自衛隊員扮演醫護兵的角色，援救菲美「傷兵」。
日本陸上自衛隊3等陸佐井上功樹表示，這是自衛隊水機團成立後，首度出動兩棲突擊車到國外參加演習。
兩棲反恐登陸演習的地點面向南海，雖然外界猜測演習與涉及中國的海事爭議有關，但菲美兩國軍方均表示，演習與此無關，而是要因應全球都深受影響的恐怖主義威脅。（編輯：高照芬）1071008
